DateScan offers four paid options. All payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), our Merchant of Record. Your receipts, renewals, and billing questions go through Lemon Squeezy's customer portal.
Your Plans
Single Scan — $1.99 one-time
One full Pro scan. "Know how you come across." Perfect if you just want to check yourself before one specific date and aren't ready to commit to a subscription. One-time purchase — does not auto-renew.
Weekly — $4.99 / 7 days
Unlimited Pro scans for 7 days. "Fix your profile, boost your chances." Auto-renews every 7 days until you cancel.
Monthly — $9.99 / month
Unlimited Pro scans for a full month. "More matches, better dates." Auto-renews every 30 days until you cancel. Works out to roughly half the Weekly per-day price.
Yearly — $24.99 / year Best Value
Unlimited Pro scans for 365 days. "Play smarter all year long." Auto-renews yearly until you cancel. By far the cheapest per-day rate — less than a Monthly gets you less than 3 months.
How to Cancel
All Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions managed by Lemon Squeezy. You can cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.
To cancel:
- Open your original purchase email from Lemon Squeezy.
- Click the "Manage your subscription" link.
- Sign in using the email you bought with — Lemon Squeezy will send a one-time login code.
- Click "Cancel subscription" on the plan you want to end.
If you can't find your purchase email or the portal link, email info@datescan.app and we'll help you cancel directly.
The Single Scan plan is a one-time purchase — there is nothing to cancel.
How to Restore Pro on a New Device or Browser
Since DateScan doesn't require an account, your Pro status is tied to your browser's local storage on the device where you purchased it. To restore Pro on a different device, browser, or after clearing site data:
- Email info@datescan.app with the subject "Restore Pro".
- Include the email address used at Lemon Squeezy checkout and any order ID from your receipt.
- We'll verify the purchase and provide a one-time restore link or code.
This is usually resolved within 1–2 business days.
How to Change Your Plan
To upgrade or downgrade (e.g. from Weekly to Monthly, or Monthly to Yearly):
- Cancel your current plan via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.
- Purchase the new plan on the DateScan homepage.
If you're upgrading within 14 days of a recent purchase, email us first — we can often credit the unused portion of your current plan toward the new one.
Billing and Receipts
All receipts are sent automatically by Lemon Squeezy to the email address you provided at checkout. If you need a duplicate receipt or a VAT-compliant invoice for business expenses, you can download them directly from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, or email us with "Receipt Request" in the subject line.
Lemon Squeezy handles all VAT/sales tax collection based on your billing location, and is responsible for remitting it to the appropriate authorities as a Merchant of Record.

Price Changes
We reserve the right to change prices for new purchases at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change affects their plan, and will have the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.
Service Availability
While we intend to maintain DateScan indefinitely, we cannot guarantee the service will operate forever. In the unlikely event of permanent shutdown, we will provide at least 90 days of notice on the homepage, and annual subscribers within their first 6 months will be offered a pro-rated refund.
